DOWSING Dowsing is the process of using a tool such as a pendulum or rod to discover things that cannot be discovered using our everyday senses. It is a term, which in the past has been associated primarily with the finding of water sources. Modern dowsers dowse for oil & gas, minerals, water, lost objects, lost people with perhaps one of the most common uses today being the use of a pendulum to determine one's state of health and whether particular medicines, supplements, etc. should be taken. A dowsing tool is a communication device. In and of itself it has no power and no ability to move. Although no one knows how or why dowsing works, it seems that the movement of the pendulum or rod(s) is controlled through or by your superconscious mind, provided you connect with it, and surrender ego. What is Dowsing? Scientists and Physics agree that we humans are energy and we exist is a larger field of energy. They found out that mind is the biggest factor in the universe and mind is creative and interacts with this larger field. Though mind, thought is the formative energy in the cosmos. Call it God, Universe, higher self, soul, angels, whatever you want. With Dowsing I call upon the larger field that surrounds you. I call it soul or higher self. This larger field is considered the other 90% of our brain that science can't define or they call it junk DNA. This 90% encompasses all soul knowledge. It contains much more knowing than your personal consciousness and the level we maintain in our everyday reality. When I dowse I let go of ego and connect with this informational field, the greater part of me and the greater part of you. The soul or higher self has your highest and best answers to all your possibilities and probabilities in mind. To follow it you become more intuitive, eventually listening to your higher guidance or inner voice. Soul and spirit are the same, its your awareness or focus that define it. Your mind which is a part of this larger field comes from soul or higher self and is director of this play or drama with the lower aspects of our personality/brain/ego/subconscious interfering, at times overriding our intuition/soul/higher self. We are all connected we just don't see it. We are all extensions of this energy. Dowsing is based on the fact that we have a higher intelligence that operates our body. It is an electric energy field. In the book "Heartmath" the author has conducted experiments in which he concludes the heart has an intelligence of its own and it was formed before the brain. Now if this intelligence that keeps the heart beating which is a very complicated detailed procedure we all take advantage of daily knowing it will keep beating. But we never seem to give it credit; I believe this higher intelligence within is part of the God spark that level of consciousness in which our soul dwells. In this energy field we have the potential to co create. Our soul that goes from lifetime to lifetime I believe exists in a space right behind our heart.It is not visible however, but we feel it through our heart in the form of emotions. Muscle testing or kinesiology uses the same method of testing only in the application of muscle testing you use the clients arm to test. In the book Your Body Doesn't Lie, Dr John Diamond explains this technique in very easy terms. Dr Diamond is one of the forerunners in Kinesiology and as a result many in alternative health field use these techniques today.
